How do you administer Konakion?
How to use Konakion Solution. This medication is given by injection under the skin or into a muscle or vein as directed by your doctor. If this medication is given into a vein, it should be injected very slowly (no more than 1 milligram per minute) to reduce the risk of serious side effects. (See also Warning section.)

For use as an antidote to anticoagulant drugs of the coumarin type in adolescents and adults, refer to Konakion MM Ampoules 10mg/ml. – 1 mg administered by intramuscular injection at birth or soon after birth – 2 mg orally at birth or soon after birth. The oral dose should be followed by a further dose of 2 mg at 4-7 days of age.
